News Highlights
 As we
say "Goodbye" to EPA's long-time administrative secretary and later also NAL
Registrar, Ricki Wilson, we welcome our new EPA Administrator and NAL Registrar,
Tanja Bednarek (please see "About Us"). Ricki has been diligently serving
EPA on a part-time basis from 2004 to mid-2010, when she could not resist
taking up an offer of full-time employment again. Ricki has made a
tremendous contribution to making particularly the EPA's scholarship scheme
and annual Young Engineers' Construction Project school competitions the
successes they are. Ricki, a warm thank you from the EPA, and wishing you
all the best in your new work. Tanja, a warm welcome from the EPA!- The
National Adjudicators' List Committee has adopted a policy requiring NAL
registered Adjudicators to earn continuous learning credits to maintain the
currency of their registration. Please see the NAL web

- Maximum
hourly tariff as per the Engineering Profession Act has been increased to
N$890.00 (Government Gazette, Notice 42 of 15 March 2010).
- The
EPA has implemented the National Adjudicators' List
(NAL)
for broadening the scope of Alternative Dispute Resolution for the Namibian
construction industry, as provided for in the FIDIC "Conditions of Contract
