NAL and EPA:

The NAL operates under the umbrella of the Engineering Professions Association of Namibia (EPA). EPA provides the professional and administrative framework supporting the activities of the NAL.

The NAL is supported by a dedicated committee responsible for matters relating to the List, including requirements for adjudicators, professional development, continuous learning and other matters relevant to maintaining a professional and credible national list.

Professional Development:

Continuous professional development is an important part of maintaining professional standards within the NAL.

Adjudicators are encouraged to participate in relevant training, presentations, seminars and other continuous learning activities. The NAL also considers the allocation of CPD points for relevant activities in accordance with its applicable requirements.

The NAL provides a central source of information for parties seeking suitably qualified adjudicators for construction and engineering-related matters.

Appointments are subject to the applicable procedures and requirements of the NAL and the relevant dispute resolution provisions of the contract or appointment.
